Mine’s easy. The glovebox you get in a Smart roadster is about big enough for a pair of gloves and nothing else so....

Well, my glove box is in the living room, so not much of anything in it at the moment. I’ve been meaning to reinstall it but the interior is so much more spacious without it. I’ve lived with the car like this for three or four years now so I guess I’m not in any great hurry to put it back.

Hmm, besides registration and insurance papers, and the owner’s manual in 2 languages? Flashlights.

A battery powered flashlight, a crank flashlight, and a combo flashlight/emergency light with seatbelt cutter and window breaker.

I also have a bunch of stickers waiting to be applied (gotta wash the damn thing first), some offroad club membership cards, and a bottle opener. I think that’s it!

I usually do keep gloves in the TR6 glovebox. For driving top down at 55-60°

I used to keep rolls of TP in my car, but they start degrading too quickly. If you’re not using them quickly, they just turn to dust from the environment.

It’s getting rusty, this long winter and erratic up and down humidity does that. I will probably clean it this week.

Your glovebox must have a different climate than mine. I had a roll with [political figure] on it for a couple years before a mouse got to it, and the replacement roll with [other political figure] on it has been in there since late 2016 without degradation.

On a side note, my dad likes to gift people rolls of toilet paper with political figures on them. We have similar views so I appreciate the humor of it.

I usually keep them in the trunk or back floor, but it seems like the sun and/or heat degrades the stuff fast. Paper towels get a little crunchy, but they don’t start losing their integrity in the same way.

Mine always start producing a lot of dust, then start turning into little pieces.

I’m wondering if the ones I get are septic safe; maybe that’s why they degrade fairly quickly.
